General Purpose (GP)

General Purpose Permanent Mould Gravity Cast (Made in New Zealand). Standard Range Sizes 19mm-3/4" to 150mm-6". WAM G.P. Couplings are made from certified aluminium ingot, shot blast finished and machined to interchange with MIL-C-27487 couplings. WAM G.P. couplings are sturdy with good wall thickness. They will give reliable service and will not break or fail due to inferior metal or casting procedures. All WAM Aluminium couplings have a unique, over-centre cam action, which gives the cam levers a stay closed feature during operation.






Military Grade (AL)
High Quality Military Grade Aluminium (Made in New Zealand). Huge Selection of Couplings and Adaptors Sizes 15mm-1/2" to 200mm-8". Made to MIL-C-27487 Permanent Moulds Gravity Cast. WAM AL couplings and adaptors are made from certified primary aluminium ingot head treated to T-6 and machined and tested in accordance with MIL-C-27487. WAM AL couplings are adaptors are sturdy with good wall thickness, heat treatment gives them up to 20% greater strength and increased chemical resistance. All WAM Aluminium couplings have a unique over-centre cam action, which gives the cam levers and stay closed feature during operation.
