Customer Service Tradesman - Timaru


The Company

We are a leading industrial brand, with branches throughout New Zealand. We are in a growth stage with lots of exciting opportunities and are looking for a bright and driven person with can-do attitude.


The Role

Located in Timaru and reporting to the branch manager, you will be responsible for providing the highest standard of service and support at all times to our valued customers. We seek a highly motivated and well-organized person with an ability to understand technical information.

You will need to have good fabricating, fitting and turning or mechanical skills. Ideally, you will have been working on the tools and now wishes to take on more of an administration, customer service and advice roll with some hands on, assembly and fabrication work as an add on service to our industrial products supply business.

You will need to be a quick learner and a natural problem solver, but most importantly you'll be a positive and professional person unfazed by the multitude of tasks and changing requirements of each day.

Communication and relationship building skills, especially a pleasant and effective manner, are paramount for this role in order to provide effective sales, support, and positive customer experiences.

A technical understanding of industrial products would be advantageous, however, we wish to talk to self-driven, enthusiastic and organised people with a can-do attitude. You must be goal orientated, proactive and hard working.
