Butterfly Valve

Double-door check valve. A general purpose valve that is stronger, lighter and smaller than conventional swing check valves, and is therefore less expensive to install and maintain.

The short and lightweight face to face dimensions of the check makes it easy install between standard gaskets and line flanges.

Only one set of flange studs is needed with enough length to span the valve.

The installed valve is inherently more rigid than an equivalent heavy-walled pipe, and there is no need for expensive joints or special supports.

  • Important: Valve should be installed equivalent to five pipeline diameters downstream of any source of turbulence such as a pump or elbow for maximum life.
